How to remove Header section in blogger?

Many blogger wanted to remove header widget and wanted to use a stylish header to make their blog look more attractive.
But you will not found any remove button in header widget in layout option because blogger has locked this widget and doesn't allow anyone to remove header.
if you want to unlock it, follow the below steps:

Step 1: login to your blogger account and select "TEMPLATE".

Step 2: (most important) Before making any changes please backup your template.

Step 3: now click on " Edit HTML" and click "proceed".

Step 4: click anywhere in code area  and press "CTRL + F" to open search dialogue box.

Step 5: Type  <b:widget id='Header1'   in search box and press Enter.
         
             now you will see this code highlighted.

Step 6: Just after above code you will see a option locked='true'

            replace this 'true' with 'false' 

Step 7: click "Save template".

 Step 8: Go to " Layout" section and click "edit" of Header widget.

  

Step 9: now you will see "remove" button in bottom of widget.

congrats!!! your header is removed. now you can add your stylish header and make your blog look more attractive.
